Vancouver sells engagement rings in two registers. The mall register: bright counters, commissioned staff, prices built to be discounted. And the private register, which is ours: an atelier, an appointment, a small shortlist of stones that already survived a trained reading, each with its independent report. The second register is calmer and, more often than not, better value, because nothing in the room is paying for the counter.
How an appointment works
You tell us the moment, the hand, and the budget. We search our own inventory and the trade for the few stones genuinely worth your consideration, natural or lab-grown or both, and read them before you ever see them. You sit with the stones in daylight, compare them against their reports, and take your time. When one is right, the setting is made for it in our atelier, 3 to 4 weeks, fully insured to your door.

Reading the inventory.
Live, market-priced to the dollar, each with an independent report you can verify at the laboratory.
Before you shop anywhere
Read our guide to buying an engagement ring in Vancouver, then the 4 C's, plainly explained. If the natural-or-lab question is still open, the honest answer lives in one place. Twenty minutes of reading buys years of not wondering.
Asked, answered plainly
Where can I buy an engagement ring in Vancouver by private appointment?
Dagarias is a private fine diamond house in Vancouver: no shop floor, no counter, appointments only. You sit with the person trained to read the stones, and the shortlist is small on purpose.
How long does an engagement ring take?
Made-to-order pieces take 3 to 4 weeks in our atelier once the stone is chosen. Working back from a proposal date, start the conversation six to eight weeks out.
Do you sell both natural and lab-grown engagement rings?
Yes, both, at honest prices, with independent certification on every stone. We will say plainly which serves your budget and your brief.
